The First UU church is gathering for the next year and a half or so at Our Saviour’s Lutheran CHurch in Rochester while we build a new church. Come check out this amazing group of liberal justice seeking folks as I join the Prairie Band to lead worship this morning. All are welcome!

come join the UU community for a potluck at 6 pm and a service honoring Winter Solstice starting at 7 pm. I will be sharing with and leading the congregation in an original Solstice song. A winter fire and singing ritual ends the sacred time of reflection.

Brett Norgaard and I collaborated on the lyrics for a new single that will be released on streaming service today. The song is called Ashes and Tears and is dedicated to our sons Bjorn Norgaard and James Jech who both died tragecally and too soon. The song offers hope while also describing the everchanging grief of families who have lost children too soon. Check it out check it and thank you!

So delighted to be heading back to Squash Blosson Farm in Oronoco, MN this summer on Sunday, August 3rd! My dear friend and professional musician and CMT David Melbye will be joining me. (David and I go way back to our days at St. Olaf) I think you will enjoy his amazing voice and talented guitar and Uke playing! He will be doing some original songs as well as backing me up vocally and on instruments. Buy tickets early, this venue often sells out! We hope you can come join the fun.

Its fun to be in a church band again! I am delighted to voally back up Rosh Mish and play guitar with Matt Schuelke, Katerine Geiersbach and Alex Higano as we interpet an electic aray of music for worship. All are welcome at the UU church!

Happy to be singing again at beautiful Squash BLossom Farm on Sunday August 18th from 4:00-6:00 pm. I am excited that David Melbye, a long time friend since our days at St Olaf College will be joining me on some songs and doing some of his own amazing tunes! You will want to register for your tickets ahead of time, as the farm is a special (and sometimes sold out) venue in the summer! Mead, wood fired pizza, farm charm everywhere and acoustic music, what’s not to like? Hope to see you there.

I am so excited to have an evening of music with my tribe of UUs! This is a fundraiser for the UU church, tickets are $12 and coffee, tea and desserts are provided! You are also welcome to bring a beverage of choice to enhance your listening pleasure. Jane will be doing a mix of originals and covers and will be sharing some brand new songs from her upcoming CD! One of my most favorite seasons is fall. One of my favorite places is Harmony Minnesota at Harmony Spirits. Put them them together and there is one fantastic day ahead! Come join us this Saturday, October 16th in the afternoon. Take a little drive, see the fall colors, have a libation, take in the sites and listen to Kevin Kleist, Mary Manges and myself playing an eclectic mix of covers and original tunes.
